The OpSens OPP-M MEMS-based fiber optic pressure sensor is designed to measure physiological pressure in animals and humans.

These tiny 0.20mm OD sensors are intended for use in catheters, guidewires, and other devices that identify physiological pressure in a minimally invasive manner. Its new, patent-pending design reduces zero thermal offset and humidity-induced drift.

Customers who require a very compact size or want to create unique sensor packaging in-house for their products should consider bare optical pressure sensors.

The OpSens OPP-M200 is ready for integration. Based on OEM applications required by customers, encapsulation can be implemented on the sensor tip and/or the complete optical cable in a range of materials and sizes.

OpSens’ dedicated OEM team works with users to adapt to their needs, reduce R&D costs and address integration challenges, reducing the overall cost to produce and market.
